Students are being supported to work from home - From Monday 23 March until further notice, all year groups will be expected to work from home unless you have been advised that your child is eligible to come in. | Admissions policy for students applying in Autumn 2020 for entry in September 2021 - there are significant changes. 6th Form | Induction & Taster Day

We want our students to settle into 6th Form and Langley Academy life quickly and feel at ease in their new learning environment and surroundings.

Taster Days

We start the Induction process early with Year 11 students completing A Level Taster Lessons within the 6th Form Centre. On these days, students simulate being a Langley Academy 6th Form student and enjoy the same privileges such as wearing business dress. Students opt to “taste” a series of lessons that they think they may be interested in studying at post 16 thus allowing them to make informed and valuable decisions in the future.

Induction Week & Days

We have a series of Induction Days for internal and external applicants starting in July and again, at the beginning of the new Academic Year.
