The Langley Academy | Bullying Intervention Group
Welcome to the Bullying Intervention Group Page
What is bullying?
Bullying can be quite obvious (pushing, hitting, verbal abuse, attacks on social media) or it can be more subtle, hiding under the guise of “It’s only a joke!” or “It’s just a bit of banter.” Is it?
If it’s deliberately being done to hurt your feelings, it’s bullying.
Bullies get away with it because their victims are too scared or embarrassed to report what’s happening.
The Langley Academy should be a safe place for you and bullying is taken seriously by staff. There is an Anti-Bullying policy available for viewing on the main website.
The Bullying Intervention Group Student Ambassadors are here to offer non-judgemental support: to listen to you and to be a friend when you need one; someone who understands what you are going through.
